Registration for Rocky Mountain Star Stare 2010 is now open!
2010 will be the best year ever for Rocky Mountain Star Stare (RMSS). Join the lucky 300 by registering early and enjoy up to four fantastic evenings of some of the darkest skies in Colorado . You have to see it to believe it. Last year was the first year RMSS was held on our private land near Gardner , CO , and the feedback from folks who attended RMSS in prior years was all affirmative!
There are no price increases this year. We also have the same caterer as last year and will provide lunch Friday and Saturday as an Ala Carte item - pay as you eat. Steve Bygrens will once again conduct a Geo-cache contest. Scouts will cook Saturday the morning breakfast, if you're interested. Speakers, vendors, photo contest, door prizes and an Orion 6 inch DOB for some lucky child.
Be sure to check the new T-shirts, hoodies, and hats available this year. We will have these available on site as well, but will be higher priced during the event.
Weather permitting, we hope to finish our mowing this year, opening a large piece of land near the dry dam in the southwest corner, and a small piece of land near the northeast corner of our 35 acres.
